Farm Tours at Mimosa
Farm tours are a wonderful learning experience for children and adults. These tours are intended for visiting family members, church groups, school groups, 4-H clubs, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, etc.

Farm tours are a wonderful learning experience for children and adults. These tours are intended for visiting family members, church groups, school groups, 4-H clubs, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, etc.
We have many animals at the farm including goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, potbelly pigs, donkeys, alpacas, llamas, miniature zebu cattle and of course horses. Farm tours usually last about two hours for large groups or one hour for small groups. During this time the group will get to interact with the animals, tour the facilities, and take turns riding a horse.
Farm Tours are $20 per person. Horse Rides alone without the tour is $15 per rider. Helmets are provided. Horses are led by a handler. Please wear closed-toe shoes. There is a 200 lb weight limit. All tours and horse rides are by appointment. Please call 828-432-6040

These are ultra fit show horses ready to take you on a ride of your life. Carriage rides last about 30-45 minutes. We will drive from our farm to a neighboring farm down the road as well as a few nearby backroads. This is a great date for that special loved one or a fun family outing!
