Crosby Reed started Mimosa Hills Farm in 2002 as a way to help friends get into riding and driving horses. It has grown into a huge horse program that provides many different services to the community as well as professional services for other pros. Crosby is a 2014 University of Kentucky Graduate with a major in Equine Management and minor in Economics and has been an active competitor in saddleseat, western pleasure, western/ranch riding, hunters, jumpers, and especially driving but now mostly focuses on combined driving and pleasure driving events.

Aaron is a Boone Native but moved to Morganton to work at home on the farm full time. He enjoys driving his Shire horses and raising Shire and Shire crosses.

Little Cowboy
If you come visit, you will meet Red. Red has been on a horse or pony since he was a baby and at 7 years old, he has shown western, english & crossrails, driving and he has even ridden 20 miles on the beach 2 years in a row. Mostly Red enjoys running around the farm and pretending to shoot bad guys off of his pony.

Boss lady
Loretta is the newest and cutest family member and calls the shots at the farm.
